Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary health care system that blends modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine. The naturopathic philosophy is to stimulate the healing power of the body and treat the underlying cause of disease.
Treatments for acute & chronic conditions are chosen based on the patient – their physiological, psychological, social, spiritual, environment & lifestyle factors. Natural therapies include diet & lifestyle changes, botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, homeopathy, and acupuncture.
Working with your naturopathic doctor, you will learn the means of alleviating many of the day-to-day issues we all face and become fully aware of your body as an integrated system, regain your personal power in your well-being, and moreover, embrace a more natural and fuller lifestyle.
In this 1.5 hour detailed initial consultation we will review your health concerns and medical history. I will perform a physical exam which includes a urine analysis. And I will get you started on your journey back to health with a treatment plan outline. Have questions? I’ll do my best to answer them!

No. Naturopathic doctors are general practitioners of natural medicine. Depending on a patient’s health needs, a naturopathic doctor may include homeopathy in an individualized treatment plan, but it is only one of many treatment methods naturopathic doctors are trained to use. Homeopaths are trained solely in homeopathy and do not use other treatment methods.
